We have these little get togethers...

We try to help out with a lot of events that are already going on in different areas.  We don't have an desire to reinvent the wheel as much as help people that are already doing great stuff.  This leads to a bit of randomness in our event schedule...but we kind of embrace that.

FALL 2017 - We are helping to sponsor an event outside of Philadelphia called "It's Not Too Late" with author and speaker Dan Dupee.  This is a two day seminar for parents of teenagers.  Want more info?  CLICK HERE.

The price is CRAZY cheap and you should get all the parents you know signed up.  They can do that by CLICKING HERE.

And now for something completely different...

We have felt the need to try a different kind of event.  We want to make it so more people and more ideas can be heard - including you with your ideas.

Our events are hosted by local churches/organizations.  We do most of the heavy lifting with planning and just ask for someone to be a point person on site.  (Plus we can always use help registering people and whatnot.)  The beauty of our model is that the events can be large or small.  The flexibility makes it so there's no major pressure to get a "critical mass" - it can be 6 people, it can be 600.  Sure there are logistical things that change based on the numbers, but they are surprisingly minor adjustments.

The event has two main sessions: one in the morning and on just after lunch.  Speakers give a relatively short presentation (approx 10-15 min) about their youth ministry "idea."  It might be something new, or it might be covering the basics of ministry... but the presentations come one after the other.  Then we move to the "breakout" sessions where each speaker will have a room and people choose which presenter they want to hear more from.  This smaller environment also allows for the speakers to do Q&A, and even get feedback on their presentation.

We head to lunch and then do it all over again.  Speakers present at rapid fire, and then we head to breakouts.  We end the event with a closing session wrapping things up, thanking sponsors, and giving away some prizes. (Because... is it really a youth ministry event without prizes?!)

So the schedule might look a little something like this:
